Facebook recently moved their offices out of several smaller locations spread throughout Palo Alto, CA and into one Central, 150,000-square-foot building in Palo Alto.
Studio o+a was in charge of this project. They really did a great job! Before that, they took a long time to interview employees to see what they wanted and what would make their work experience better and more productive. Due to the different needs and missions of departments, they have their own unique flavor.
Two of the best things are -- A kitchen and cafe continue Facebook's tradition of providing gournet meals to staff at all hours, while drinks and snacks are available at micro - kitchen. (It really saves a lot, haha) -- The employees could also move the furniture and anything which fit the office. (How great it is!) Yeah!
